"textContent": "We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at **GamingTrend.com** last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: one from **Dark Horse Comics** and two from **Marvel Comics**!\n\nAt the end, keep an eye out for an announcement for this week!\n\n* * *\n\nThe cover and first five pages of ****Avatar: The Gap Year: Tipping Point - Issue #6****!\n\n## **Avatar: The Gap Year: Tipping Point - Issue #6/6**\n\nThis finale went about how you would expect from the finale of an Avatar story. Plenty of creatures vs technology, our lead characters making daring decisions, and lots and lots of fire. The art for this series stayed true to the aesthetic of the movies while allowing for unique \"movement\" from page to page you may not be able to get on a movie set.\n\nThis was a great story to showcase more of Jake's leadership, but how humanity started to figure Jake out. They had people who studied him for years and years leading to The Way of Water and right after, Fire and Ash.\n\nIf you're a fan of the series, this is a great canon story that leads directly into the opening of The Way of Water.\n\nAvatar: The Gap Year--Tipping Point #6 :: Profile :: Dark Horse ComicsA beyond-the-screen adventure set before the events of the award-winning film Avatar: The Way of Water! With multiple defeats weighing on Jake and the Na’vi, morale is shaken and hopelessness is beginning to set in. Writer Stephanie Phillips does a great job of balancing Matthew Merdock and Daredevil in the best way possible.\n\nThis story pays homage to the past Daredevil costumes and lore while moving the story forward into a new era for Matt and Daredevil. The art follows suit with a great mix of the dark colors you'd expect tonally from Daredevil with the bright colors of day with Matthew.\n\nBetween the new show and the comics, Daredevil fans are feasting with all the content!\n\nDaredevil (2026) #1 | Comic Issues | MarvelBrowse the Marvel Comics issue Daredevil (2026) #1. Here, we have Captain Marvel suffering the consequences of a Brotherhood of Evil-Era Rogue with her memory being spotty at best.\n\nThe first issue is a lot of fun with Captain Marvel and her multiple suits, different time periods to look forward to, and a guest appearance from Tony Stark and the Iron Man. So if you're in the market for a good Captain Marvel story with great action and fabulous banter; Dark Past is a great option!\n\nCaptain Marvel: Dark Past (2026) #1 | Comic Issues | MarvelBrowse the Marvel Comics issue Captain Marvel: Dark Past (2026) #1.
