"textContent": "I will admit, when seeing the words ‘female-inspired' in the description of GUNNAR Optiks' new Tindra glasses, I was confused; what do they mean by female-inspired'? There are already a ton of glasses on the GUNNAR roster that appeal to women, like the Overwatch D.Va Tokki, The Witcher Ciri, and Toki Doki Donutella. However, these simply cater to the 'cuteness' and fashionable standards of the ladies. To be female-inspired would be to evoke the beauty and classiness of women. To accentuate and highlight their features.\n\nI could also 100% be reading into it too much.\n\nThe Tindra glasses are GUNNAR's latest glasses made to replicate women's fashion and designer glasses. They come in two color options, Smoky Quartz and Rose Latte, on translucent, rectangular silhouette frames. The Smoky Quartz has silver accents, with the GUNNAR 'G' on the outer endpieces, while the Rose Latte features gold accents in the same design. The pictures don't do these glasses justice; the Rose Latte looks incredible in person, especially with the amber tinted lenses. They are an elegant and stylish accessory.\n\nThe Tindra glasses come in Smoky Quartz or Rose Latte.\n\nThe lenses come in +1.00 to +2.50 power, making them functional readers at multiple levels. They're also coated in the GUNNAR-patented G-Shield for reflection and smudge resistance, as well as their industry-leading scratch resistant hard coating. These are readers, so there are no options to purchase with prescription lenses, though you could have them fitted with your prescription by your local glasses shop if you wanted to use them as your daily wears.\n\nThe fit is unfortunately where the glasses fail for me, but not all glasses are meant for everyone's head. I can't quite get them situated to sit on my face to where they won't keep sliding down my nose, which is why I tend to prefer glasses with the extended nosepads reaching out from the frames. They're also a smidge tight towards the back of my head, right behind the ears. GUNNAR glasses all come with a 30-day guarantee to return or exchange any non-prescription glasses for any other style you’d like for credit or your money back, so if you don’t like the fit, it’s easy to change them out.\n\nThe Tindra glasses may look fancy, but the price tag makes them a real bargain. You can snag a pair for only $49 USD from the GUNNAR website, and they'll ship to you with a convenient microfiber pouch for safekeeping and a 12-month warranty. Frankly, I’ve spent more on regular sunglasses that didn’t have all these fancy features.\n\n Review Guidelines \n\n95\n\n### GUNNAR Optiks Tindra glasses\n\n#### Excellent\n\nThe GUNNAR Tindra readers are reflective of women's designer glasses without the designer price tag. They're both stylish and functional, but you might need to bump up a notch if you need prescription support.\n\n* * *\n\n##### Pros\n\n * Style meets function\n * Looks designer without the designer price tag\n * Many reader strengths available\n\n\n\n##### Cons\n\n * Doesn't fit my cranium\n * No prescription option\n\n\n\n* * *\n\nThis review is based on a retail copy provided by GUNNAR Optiks.",
