"textContent": "We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at **GamingTrend.com** last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: one from **Dark Horse Comics** , one from **Marvel Comics,** and one from **Titan Manga**.\n\nWe also have Tim Jenkins' impressions of the most recent issue of **Conan the Barbarian**! At the end, keep an eye out for a **preview** of what we're looking at this week!\n\n* * *\n\nComic cover and first five pages for ****Avatar: The Gap Year: Tipping Point – Issue #5/6****.\n\n**Avatar: The Gap Year: Tipping Point – Issue #5/6**\n\nAfter a defeat against a new threat, the Sully's have to regroup to figure out the best way forward. In line with Jake's character, he's struggling to find any type of balance between his marine training and his new Na'vi life. All of this, while a tactician-style villain is predicting his every move.\n\nThe Gap Year provides a more in-depth look at the struggles Jake and his family deal with during the time leading into The Way of Water, if you're a fan of the series, you'll be excited all the way through. The final issue is set to be a huge pressure point.\n\nAvatar: The Gap Year--Tipping Point #5 :: Profile :: Dark Horse ComicsA beyond-the-screen adventure set before the events of the award-winning film Avatar: The Way of Water! After suffering losses and narrowly escaping a pincer attack from the RDA, the Omatikaya are shaken and their faith in Jake is wavering. The first issue introduces us to Captain Lawson, a lawman trying to figure out the new normal provided by The Empire. Captain Lawson and his sidekick Two Boots attempt to take down a ring and things go, not as well as they thought it would.\n\nWhile this issue doesn't have a lot of Maul himself, this series is to setup that relationship between Maul and Lawson before the release of the show on April 6th. Usually, when Disney/Marvel puts out a comic before a show, it's because they know it's important backstory, just one they (most likely) won't show in the series. So if you're a fan and want to know everything going in, I suggest watching all of The Clone Wars with Maul and read this comic run!\n\nStar Wars: Shadow of Maul (2026) #1 | Comic Issues | MarvelBrowse the Marvel Comics issue Star Wars: Shadow of Maul (2026) #1. Kuro, our protagonist, is a slave to the Lowest Levels of Urunaria. His uncle took him in after the death of his father in an unexplained accident. Things happen quickly as Kuro makes an escape.\n\nAlways up, never down. Kuro makes his way up and up on his way to see the surface like his father and uncle always dreamed. If you're a fan of futuristic alternate universes, Gizmo Riser does a great job of providing action, heart, and plenty of cool gadgets!\n\nGet a copy today at Titan-Comics.com!\n\n* * *\n\nThree alternative covers for ****Conan the Barbarian – Issue #29****.\n\n**Conan the Barbarian – Issue #29 impressions**\n\nA good adversary isn't merely born, but rather forged, as Jim Zub's Conan the Barbarian #29 shows us. Meet the Son of the Tooth. An unlikely challenger for Conan at first glance, we quickly find there's more to him than meets the eye as he works his way from the sickly eleventh child of the tribe leader to fearsome assassin of the Woeful Eye.\n\nIt's a fantastic issue that perfectly sets the stage for what is to come while also giving us possibly the series' most interesting antagonist yet.\n\nConan the Barbarian #29 impressionsA worthy foe rises from the far eastGAMINGTRENDTim Jenkins\n\n* * *\n\nMain cover art for ****The Witcher: Blood Stone**** _****#2****_ , ****X-Men United (2026)****_****#1****_ , and ****Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome**** _****#2****_!\n\n**Coming this week from GamingTrend Comics & Manga:**\n\nImpressions of **The Witcher: Blood Stone _#2_** , **X-Men United (2026)_#1_** , and **Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome _#2_**!\n\n* * *\n\nStay tuned to **GamingTrend.com** for all the news, reviews, and interviews you could want: **By humans, for humans**!",
