Not only can you play Fire Red and Leaf Green right now on your Switch 2, but we got the big reveal of Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, we have a release date for Pokopia, and so much more! Below is information from Nintendo about the upcoming releases as well as some more information about upcoming events and games!\n\n* * *\n\n> The Pokémon Company group Today celebrated 30 years of Pokémon with a special Pokémon Presents video presentation packed with new announcements spanning the massive entertainment franchise, including the unveiling of the next titles in the Pokémon video game series,  _Pokémon Winds_ and  _Pokémon Waves_. The video presentation was streamed online to fans around the world on Pokémon Day, the annual fan-focused holiday celebrating the launch of the original video games,  _Pokémon Red_ and  _Pokémon Green_ , in Japan on Feb. 27, 1996.\n>\n> Additional highlights from the Pokémon Presents included new updates for PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, Pokémon Champions,  _Pokémon Pokopia_ , the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and more.
