Tangle and Whisper make their gaming debut in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Last night, SEGA released the free Tangle & Whisper content drop for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The pair originate from the IDW Sonic Comics, and this is their first appearance in a non-mobile game.

The free Tangle & Whisper __ Content Drop includes the following:

• Tangle & Whisper as playable characters
• Two new Tangle & Whisper __ themed songs added to the Jukebox:
  • “Character Select”
  • “Result”
• Special emotes and sounds

Players who own either the Standard (physical or digital) or Digital Deluxe versions of the game will automatically receive the free __ Tangle & Whisper __ Content Drop. Please ensure that the game is updated to the latest version for the content to be downloaded properly.

I haven't read the IDW comics yet, but even I love Tangle and Whisper just from what I know about them through cultural osmosis. I'm not sure if either of them will replace Blaze as my main in CrossWorlds, but after playing a few online matches with them I really like how they handle.
