  "textContent": "Today, 2K and Gearbox Software announced that Borderlands 4's Bounty Pack 2: Legend of the Stone Demon launches on February 26th as the first piece of paid DLC.\n\n> This all-new bite-sized-yet-flavorful narrative content delivers players a new mission and Legendary loot to collect, as well as a themed Vault Card featuring 24 cosmetics and 4 rerollable pieces of gear unlocked through gameplay. The full story and more details about _Legend of the Stone Demon_ will be revealed closer to the launch.\n\n> Alongside Bounty Pack 2, a major update will be released that marks an exciting addition to **_Borderlands 4_** 's loot chase with Pearlescent gear—a new rarity tier with power levels superior to even Legendary gear. This new rarity will be available to all players regardless of what edition of **_Borderlands 4_** they own (though certain pieces of Pearlescent gear are exclusive to Bounty Pack 2).\n>\n> The first Story Pack for _**Borderlands 4**_ , _Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned_ , will launch in March and introduces multiple main missions and side missions set in a new zone of Kairos, new gear to earn, and heaps of new cosmetics. This Story Pack centers on the return of the indomitable fan-favorite Ellie, and focuses on a cosmic horror theme with a bloodier, darker tone. Players can now wishlist Story Pack 1 on Steam.
