The series, based on _Every Summer After_ by Carley Fortune, has everything _The Summer I Turned Pretty_ superfans love: romance (duh), a coastal lake town in the summer, and more than a few surprises.\n\nI don't want to spoil too many for you though — you'll have to tune into the show (which is on Prime Video now, in case you haven't binged it yet). So for now, let's break down all the characters and the stars playing them.\n\n* * *\n\n## Meet the _Every Year After_ cast, streaming on Prime Video now.\n\n### 1. Sadie Soverall as Percy\n\n\n\n\nIn _Every Year After_ , Sadie Soverall (who you'll recognize from _Saltburn_) takes the lead as Percy. At the beginning of the story, we see Percy return to Barry's Bay a decade after she made the biggest mistake of her life.\n\n### 2. Matt Cornett as Sam Florek\n\n\n\n\n _High School Musical: The Musical: The Series_ star Matt Cornett plays Sam Florek, Percy's best friend and first love.\n\n### 3. ​Michael Bradway as Charlie\n\n\n\n\nMichael Bradway (_Chicago Fire_) stars as Charlie in the _Every Year After_ cast. Charlie is Sam's older brother and one of Percy's family friends.\n\n### 4. Aurora Perrineau as Chantal\n\n\n\n\nWe'll also see _Kaos_ star Aurora Perrineau as Chantal, one of Percy's best friends who's a successful lawyer.\n\n### 5. Joseph Chiu as Jordie\n\n\n\n\nJoseph Chiu (who you saw in _Motorheads_) stars as Jordie, an ex-basketball player and owner of the local motel.\n\n### 6. ​Abigail Cowen as Delilah\n\n\n\n\n _Fate: The Winx Saga_ actress Abigail Cowen stars as Delilah, another one of Percy's friends who grew up alongside her and the boys.\n\n### 7.
