Unfortunately for Mr. Wiseau, when shooting The Room, the new Cinelux SIXTEEN Hybrid Digital Film Camera was not yet available.\n\nSet to be the first new film camera announced in over 20 years, this experimental camera is designed to do just that—shoot film and digital simultaneously. The solution the company has offered is two exposures in one shutter revolution.\n\nOne of the exposures occurs through the gate onto a frame of film, and the other onto the digital cinema sensor.
