Well, this is never good news, for what is now the fourth time since the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas just under a month ago, Blackmagic Design has had to announce a price increase for some of its products.

Citing the same concerns affecting the world right now, due to price increases in flash storage parts and high-speed DRAM memory, the Australian digital video tech company has announced another round of price updates that are set to raise prices significantly across a range of products.

Hitting cameras and other products with pre-installed storage, these price increases are set to affect many URSA Cine cameras, Media Modules, Cloud Store devices, and other ATEM models. Here’s what you need to know.

Blackmagic Design Price Increases

In a statement made both to retailers and to the public, Blackmagic Design has been very forthcoming in the reasons for these price increases, as well as in its expression of its own frustrations with the price increases hitting the industry worldwide, which is causing these inflationary pressures due to the ever-increasing demand for flash storage parts and high-speed DRAM memory.

The company calls this global supply chain situation "extremely frustrating,” and goes on to further explain why the price increases are hitting these products in particular, as they are the ones with storage pre-installed, which are needed to record video and handle large digital film files.

These cameras and products with said pre-installed memory use the same high-performance memory assets, which are in high demand for those building data centers worldwide, most notably to help meet the demands of the ongoing AI revolution.

What Products are Impacted?

As mentioned above, these price increases apply only to Blackmagic Design products with pre-installed storage. Here’s the full list of products impacted and the price increases in US dollars:
