"textContent": "\n\n\n\nMove over, Apple, you’re being out-cooled by DJI of all companies now. Taking a cue from notable Apple computer launches of the past, DJI is introducing a new line of compact wireless microphones, which are set to come with multi-color magnetic covers so that shooters, content creators, and creatives can match their microphone systems to their favorite outfits.\n\nThe DJI Mic Mini 2 isn’t just a gimmick, though, as it’s set to offer quite a bit of lightweight versatility, decent audio quality, and features worth exploring. Here’s what you need to know.\n\n* * *\n\n### DJI Mic Mini 2\n\n\n\n\nAn update to the DJI Mic Mini, a popular compact wireless microphone system in its own right, the company has just introduced a newer version with improved specs and features. However, the big news—or at least the marketing point the company is harping on—is the multicolor magnetic covers.\n\nIf you make your camera and gear decisions based on the colors and aesthetics of your outfits, this might be an appealing option. Also, not to judge, even if for superficial cover reasons, DJI has proven it knows audio almost as well as it knows aerial drone technology, so you’re in good hands with the company on either front—as long as you don’t live in the US.\n\nOn that note, we don’t have too many official specs and features to go by here, as the DJI Mic Mini 2 page is, as usual, not up in the US. We do know some key features and selling points, though.\n\n### Price and Availability\n\n\n\n\nThe most notable news that we know here is that the DJI Mic Mini 2 will feature multi-color magnetic covers. We also know it will feature three voice tone presets, two-level noise cancellation, mixed device connection, and DJI OsmoAudio, which should help it deliver high-quality audio.\n\nThe Mic Mini 2 will also feature improved battery life and all-in-one storage, allowing users to get 48 hours of operating time. As far as official specs go, here’s what we have to share:\n\n * Lightweight & Versatile, Compact Storage\n * High‑Quality Audio, Mixed Device Transmission\n * Three Voice Tone Presets, Two-Level Noise Cancelling\n * Automatic Limiting to Prevent Audio Clipping\n * DJI OsmoAudio Direct Connection\n * 48-Hour Operating Time & Power Saving\n\n\n\nSadly, it does not sound like the DJI Mic Mini 2 will be available in the US at launch. We also don’t know exact pricing yet, but it looks like it might be around £89 in the UK, so around $120 if it were available in the US.\n\nIf you are abroad, you can find more info on DJI’s website here.",
