"textContent": "\n\n\n\nWhat’s that? Adobe has rolled out a major new update for its flagship video editing software, featuring a totally new feature set, and this new direction has nothing to do with AI. Are we dreaming?\n\nIn perhaps the biggest non-AI swing that the company has made in a long time, Adobe has introduced Color Mode, a first-of-its-kind color grading system in Premiere (beta) designed from the ground up for video editors.\n\nSet to feature a full suite of new tools and workflows, it’s a bold move that was honestly one of the most-discussed topics at NAB this year in Las Vegas. If you’re curious about this new Color Mode and interested in learning as much about it as possible from the ground up, this series of videos is a great crash course.\n\nCheck it out below.\n\n* * *\n\n### Adobe Color Mode 101\n\n\n\n\nReleased by the same Adobe Premiere team that developed this new feature and was on hand at NAB 2026 to demo and showcase Color Mode to the masses, this series is perhaps the best way to actually familiarize oneself with what this new workflow has to offer.\n\nCovering everything you need to know about Color Mode, which is available in Premiere beta for now, this series goes over how to add LUTs, how to match shots, use effects, and unlock all parts of your potential workflows with color management and helpful tools.\n\nFeaturing twelve videos of varying lengths, this crash course is perhaps the best way to dive in short of, you know, just opening Premiere and trying things out yourself. If you’d like to check it out, you can start the series with the first video below.\n\n### Adobe Premiere Color Mode\n\n\n\n\nAs we covered when it was first announced, Adobe’s new Color Mode in Premiere is a big swing by the company and a refreshing new non-AI addition to the company’s video editing ecosystem. As a major new feature, it will likely continue to develop over the coming months and perhaps years. So what it is today will likely continue to develop and evolve.\n\nIf you’re curious to check it out beyond watching videos, you can find out more on the company’s website here.",
