With NAB 2026 now just a few days away, pretty much all of the major brands and players in the film and video space have shared at least previews, if not full-blown announcements, of their latest products and innovations.

RØDE, the Australian audio tech company, is not to be outdone by others, as it has unveiled a wave of next-gen audio products, including new microphone systems and more. Here’s what you need to know.

RØDE NAB 2026 Announcements

While RØDE has several new products to debut, the company is stressing that these releases aren't just new gear, but a step toward the next generation of its future-focused gear and software.

“What we’ve achieved with Sonaura was once considered impossible. We have always been relentless in our pursuit of delivering the highest quality audio, and Sonaura is not only proof of that unwavering commitment, but a testament to RØDE and the wider Freedman Group’s ethos of shattering barriers and crushing conventions.” - Freedman Group Founder and Chairman Peter Freedman AM.

The big news here is the announcement of Sonaura, a new studio-grade MEMS microphone technology that will be the bedrock for a new generation of professional audio solutions across RØDE’s product array.

The company is also set to introduce its new RØDELink II professional UHF wireless microphone system, which will include a range of new studio accessories, including the LPA1 low-profile studio arm, the DS3 desktop studio arm, the PodMic Flag branding tool, and the RØDECaster Studio podcast app.

The RØDELink II

Looking a bit more at the new RØDELink II, this does look to be a nice new audio-for-video option designed for filmmakers in particular, as well as other broadcasters and hybrid content creators.

The RØDELink II is set to feature proprietary UHF wireless transmission, offering high-end sound quality, solid range, good stability, and a host of other features that aim to set a new industry standard for wireless microphone systems.

What’s unique about this RØDELink II is its versatility: it features two transmitters and a single receiver, which together offer seamless dual-channel operation for recording multiple sound sources at once. Each transmitter will pair with a broadcast-grade lavalier microphone featuring locking connectors, delivering exceptional detail and secure, high-quality audio capture for interviews, productions, and live performances in any environment.

Price and Availability

RØDE hasn’t shared much info in terms of pricing or availability for these new products just yet, but if you are interested in learning more and planning to be at NAB 2026 in Las Vegas this week, you can check out all of the company’s latest products at booth C9316 in Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
