"textContent": "\n\n\n\nYou’re gonna need (or at least want) sunglasses for this latest light from Aputure. Previewed ahead of NAB 2026, the company has unveiled quite a bit about its new STORM CS32, a fully tunable color fixture that is the brightest ever in its point source line of LED lights.\n\nSet to feature output that rivals a 4K HMI and excellent saturated colors across the visible light spectrum, this new light from Aputure looks quite bright and appealing. Here’s what you need to know about it.\n\n* * *\n\n\n\n\n### Aputure STORM CS32\n\n\n\n\nThe latest lighting option from APuture, the STORM CS32, is set to feature the current version of the company’s BLAIR-CG light engine and Indigo and Extended Red emitters to cover a wide range of rich colors and deliver more natural white light with proper skin tones.\n\n> “Our goal was the impossible light. Can we make a fixture with no compromises in light output and light quality yet still remain lightweight? With each new product our engineers push to cram in as much performance as possible while continuing to reduce size and slash weight. We made the light work under any available power. You can plug it into a household 120v socket and the STORM CS32 will automatically switch itself to the maximum that circuit can deliver. Switch cables for a higher powered circuit to deliver another 25% of light output that’s equivalent in brightness to a 4K HMI.” - ” Mitch Gross, Director of Marketing for Aputure.\n\nThe goal, as the company puts it, is to offer a “triple treat” with high output, full-spectrum, and small size. It’s also, as we mentioned above, set to be the brightest COB light in the industry.\n\n### Specs, Price, and Features\n\n\n\n\nAs of now, we only have some preview images of the STORM CS32 to share. The company shares that it expects the light to be released in Q3 2026. Pricing and availability beyond that are still to be announced. For now, though, if you’re curious, here’s the full list of highlights:\n\n * SSI [P3200]: 93, SSI [CIE D5600]: 92\n * Indigo for natural fluorescence, Extended Red for richer skin tones\n * 1800-20,000K CCT range\n * 100% +/- Green adjustment (full ASC MITC range)\n * HSIC+ and x,y coordinate color tuning covering more than 90% of Rec2020 Output\n\n\n\nYou can find more info on thecompany’s website here, too.",
