Meet the World’s Smallest Professional 8-Color Spotlight, the New Nanlux Evoke 5C

Set to be another new product available to check out in person at NAB 2026 this week in Las Vegas, Nanlux has welcomed a new member to the company’s Evoke family.

The Evoke 5C is the world’s smallest professional 8-color spotlight, designed for simple yet flexible on-set lighting as a subtle fill or accent light.

While, of course, not meant to be your main lighting source by any means, this little RGB LED spotlight could work well in a pinch to help with creative in-frame practicals or other ancillary lighting needs. Here’s what you need to know about the new Nanlux Evoke 5C.

The Nanlux Evoke 5C

Designed by Nanlux to be the company’s most compact Evoke light yet, the Evoke 5C RGB LED Spotlight is a 6W fixture with full-color output and is set to provide an extremely wide 1000-20,000K CCT range, extensive green/magenta tint-shifting, and other advanced controls.

It’s also quite durable, with an IP67 weatherproof rating, and versatile for all types of shoots and uses, thanks to its built-in battery and a convenient magnetic accessory ecosystem. The Evoke 5C will also include a 3.3' USB-C cable and a range of magnetic accessories, including a diffuser, a yoke, and a thermal shield.

What’s pretty cool about this little spotlight, too, is that with its Nebula C8 technology, the ultracompact Evoke 5C should really be able to produce some impressive red, deep red, amber, lime, green, cyan, blue, and indigo colors via a 2.2 x 1.7 x 1.7" form factor and 5.6 oz lightweight body. Overall, these features should make it a capable light that small or large crews can use in a wide range of situations.
