Canon Introduces World’s Longest Focal Length Cine-Servo Lens Ahead of NAB 2026

Designed for modern cinematography and live production, Canon’s newest cine-servo lens represents a significant expansion of the company’s pro imaging ecosystem and is touting itself as the “world’s longest focal length cine-servo lens.”

Kicking off NAB 2026 with lots of announcements, Canon’s new CINE-SERVO 40-1200mm T5.0-10.8 lens is about as high-end a broadcast camera lens as they come. As part of a combo with the CINE-SERVO 40-1200mm T5.0-10.8 Cinema Zoom Lens with SS-41-IASD Servo Kit from Canon, the zoom lens covers Super 35 format sensors natively and full-frame sensors when used with its built-in 1.5x extender.
