"textContent": "\n\n\n\nBest known to many as the company that developed the _clean and ethically-trained AI model Marey,_ Asteria is back with another new venture that moves away from generative AI and more into a filmmaker’s suite of tools.\n\nAnnounced from the company’s Research & Technology Division, Asteria has introduced Continuum Suite, a new operating system and creative toolset for film and television production. Here’s what you need to know about this new operating system and what it might be able to offer for your film and video workflows.\n\n* * *\n\n### Asteria’s Continuum Suite\n\n\n\n\nSo, the goal of the project appears to be to help filmmakers transform their scripts into fully realized productions by offering a full suite that unifies creative development, production coordination, and animation workflows in a single, intelligent environment.\n\n> “Continuum Suite was designed as a way to transform a script into a living universe. A centralized place where all departments can stay on the same page as updates are made. The idea came out of all the snags I've run into during production that create inefficiencies or miscommunication. There was also a desire to make all the task pre-production process less arduous and more collaborative.\" — Paul Trillo, filmmaker and Co-Founder at Asteria.\n\nThe suite’s operating system is powered by a “persistent intelligence layer” that promises to carry an entire production on its shoulders. This means it should be able to coordinate information, context, and decisions across every stage of filmmaking, freeing filmmakers to focus on creative decisions.\n\n### A Filmmaker’s Operating System\n\n\n\n\nThe way things sound like they work is that filmmakers will begin working with this new operating system by simply uploading a script, then having the Continuum Suite take over the entire production from there.\n\nOnce a script is added, Continuum Suite will automatically do the following:\n\n * Breaks down characters, scenes, locations, props, and costumes\n * Creates a structured production database\n * Generates sides, call sheets, and schedules\n * Builds storyboards and animatics\n * Coordinates updates across cast and crew\n * Maintains versioned creative and production assets\n\n\n\nFrom there, filmmakers can proceed with their productions as they normally would. Asteria is working to develop additional features to help develop, produce, create, and distribute in the future, but those will likely be rolled out to studios and outside productions, where they will also help with other production coordination layers.\n\nIf you’re curious about Continuum Suite, you can find out more on the _company’s website here_.",
