Aputure Adds New DMX and CRMX Control Features With Major INFINIMAT Firmware Update
Aputure’s popular soft light system, the INFINIMAT family, is getting a major firmware update (v1.4), which highly recommends that all users get it as it is set to add some notable features to DMX and CRMX control, as well as to the factory settings and user interface.

So, the big highlights here are the addition of the ability to independently set DMX addresses per port, as well as adding a DMX Status Screen to support multiple DMX addresses with your lighting setups.
Dubbed the “ultimate soft light system,” Aputure’s INFINIMAT family is a uniquely designed series of inflatable airbags that can provide structure to the lights, as well as make them nice options thanks to quick setup capabilities, plus easy storage.
The update doesn't just add new features, it also offers a pretty big list of improvements, as well as the DMX performance and CRMX behavior are both set to be improved, including proper signal strength display when no DMX data is present.

- Improved Smoothing algorithms, refining Smooth and Super Smooth timing and moderate smoothing behavior.
- Improved Power allocation logic on restart to use the same power mapping.

- Replaced “Zone” with “Port”.
- Updated hue range to 0–359° and 0–359.9°.
- Updated 50% power display to text-only “50%”.
- Standardized lowercase “xy”.
