"textContent": "\n\n\n\nContinuing a theme that we’ve seen with cine lenses of all price points, the goal of the new Zeiss Aatma Prime T1.5 Cine Lens line is to homage the classic looks and stylings of some of the company’s most famous legacy lenses of the past.\n\nDesigned to be lenses that pay tribute to these classic Zeiss lenses of the 20th century, the Aatma T1.5 Cine Lenses aim to do just that, but with all of the amenities and features of a 21st-century lens.\n\nThis means these new classically-inspired lenses will feature large format coverage, eXtended Data compatibility, and plenty of other modern features.\n\n* * *\n\n### The New Zeiss Aatma Prime T1.5 Cine Lenses\n\n\n\n\nWhile not a complete recreation of a specific classic Zeiss lens, these Aatma Prime T1.5 Cine Lenses are merely drawing upon the rich heritage of Zeiss glass with the goal of offering a nostalgic look evocative of legacy lenses developed by the famous company in the past decades.\n\nOf course, these are modern lenses, though, and will make the most of modern technologies as they will offer large-format features like smooth focus shifts, soft skin textures, veiled glare, and rich bokeh with a gentle soap bubble effect, which should look quite dreamlike and cinematic.\n\nThe Zeiss Aatma Prime T1.5 Cine Lenses are set to come in nine focal length options, which will all feature an impressive T1.5 maximum aperture. Here are the focal lengths set to be available:\n\n * 18mm\n * 25mm\n * 35mm\n * 40mm\n * 50mm\n * 65mm\n * 85mm\n * 100mm\n * 135mm\n\n\n\nThe lenses are set to weigh between 2.69 and 5 lbs each and will feature a range of lengths, which will go from 4.7” to 6.4” at the longest end. DPs and shooters should find solid versatility for coverage as the lenses will offer close focus as low as 10” with the 25mm and up to 4’6” with the 135mm.\n\n### Price and Availability\n\n\n\n\nOverall, while these lenses will of course be quite cinematic and functional with workable diameters and markings available in either feet or meters, the real selling point for many will simply be how the lenses look and perform for high-end film and video projects.\n\nYou can start to see some examples come in, and more reviews will be coming out shortly, but if you’re curious to check the specs and see about putting in a preorder, the lenses are available individually in the purchase options below.\n\n * Large Format | T1.5 Maximum Aperture\n * Soft Skin Textures, Reduced Contrast\n * 0.8 MOD Focus and Iris Gears\n * ZEISS eXtended Data Technology\n * 114mm Front Outside Diameter\n * CinCraft Tracking Integration\n * Smooth, Vibrant Focus Transitions\n * Clean Geometry for VFX Capture\n * Enlarged Depth of Field, Veiled Glare\n * Distinct Bokeh, Soap Bubble Effect\n\n\n\n### ZEISS Aatma 18mm T1.5 Prime Lens\n\n\n\n\nDrawing upon the rich heritage of **ZEISS** glass, the ARRI PL-mount **Aatma 18mm T1.5 Prime Lens** offers a nostalgic look evocative of legacy lenses while providing precision modern technology.",
