Quickly Light Your Shots With This Compact and Versatile LED Fresnel
Designed to blend in, but also to stand out, this new QuikBeam from Astera aims to be the best of both worlds in the lighting department. A quick-to-use, but still powerful and cinematically capable compact spotlight, the QuikBeam is here to deliver the power of a 200W Tungsten equivalent.
It will also feature a 13º–60º Fresnel-based zoom, swappable QuikBrick batteries, and built-in PoE.
Let’s take a look at this new lighting solution and explore what it could offer for your projects.
The Astera QuikBeam
The latest addition to Astera’s array of Quik light options, the QuikBeam is a new venture that aims to be a compact, yet powerful, LED spotlight which can be used in quick setups for run-and-gun projects, or for your more standard pro lighting setups.
Powered by the Titan LED Engine, the QuikBeam promises to provide rich, accurate color rendering. It’s also quite lightweight and versatile, and should be ready for whatever future projects you take on, as it's able to handle events of any size, indoors or outdoors, and for film and broadcast sets alike.
Price and Availability
While not earth-shattering new lighting technology, the QuikBeam is a promising addition to the QuikFamily from Astera, which should pair well with other Astera lighting products or work as a fill-in for certain quick shoots or events.
