"textContent": "The nineteenth release of the qlcal package arrivied at CRAN just now, and has already been built for r2u. This version synchronises with QuantLib 1.42 released this week.\n\nqlcal delivers the calendaring parts of QuantLib. It is provided (for the R package) as a set of included files, so the package is self-contained and does not depend on an external QuantLib library (which can be demanding to build). qlcal covers over sixty country / market calendars and can compute holiday lists, its complement (_i.e._ business day lists) and much more. Examples are in the README at the repository, the package page, and course at the CRAN package\npage.\n\nThis releases updates to the 2025 holidays for China, Singapore, and Taiwan.\n\nThe full details from `NEWS.Rd` follow.\n\n> #### Changes in version 0.1.1 (2026-04-15)\n>\n> * Synchronized with QuantLib 1.42 released two days ago\n>\n> * Calendar updates for China, Singapore, Taiwan\n>\n>\n\n\nCourtesy of my CRANberries, there is a diffstat report for this\nrelease. See the project page and package documentation for more details, and more examples.\n\nThis post by Dirk\nEddelbuettel originated on his Thinking inside the box blog.
