"textContent": "My passion for the United States as a country began in the spring of 2011 when my sister and mother went to visit my friend in New York. Her friend's family lived in NYC for work at the time. I watched from the upstairs window as the car left for the airport. I would have liked to have even gone with them in their suitcase. That spring I became very interested in the skateboard brand DC and started skateboarding. I watched a lot of American skateboarding videos and I remember the first videos I found on YouTube very well. At that time, Barack Obama was the president of the United States and his personality etc. was captivating and captivated me. I was 13 years old at the time. I also started to get excited and be a Rihanna fan at that time and since then I have listened to Rihanna at least a little every month. Sometimes more, sometimes less. There are many things that fascinate me about the United States. I have a whole file of it so that I don't forget these things if someone asks me about it. Let's get started. 1. Hot wings Do I even need to justify it, grilled chicken legs and wings. I could eat these 365 days a year with just ice cream, water and Coca Cola for every meal. 2. Jacuzzi We all like to relax in warm water and bubbles are always wonderfully relaxing. If I owned my own jacuzzi, I would use it for at least 4-6 hours every day. 1-2 hours in the morning, 1-2 hours at noon and 1-2 hours in the evening, etc. 3. Celebrities around the country Is there really a person in the world who doesn't follow at least one US account closely to see what it's doing, where, with whom and how. There are singers, content creators, TV hosts and film directors, actors, etc. The list could go on for the next two hours without a break. So many my own rolemodels live in usa currently or they were born in USA. 4. Technology Who wouldn't use US technology in their own life, even remotely. They're hard to find. Some people try and succeed, some people try and fail. Defense technology, entertainment technology, car technology, airplane-cargo-ship-train, etc. technology. Try to live a month without US technology, even indirectly, it won't be the easiest task of your life. It's not an impossible task for creative people. 5. Food and portion sizes In the US, some of the food is really unhealthy and that's a bad thing, as well as how the food is prepared, etc. preservatives, etc. This would be a big improvement in the US. However, in stores, for example, portion sizes are shockingly larger than in Europe. Why hasn't Europe focused on large portion sizes, etc. in product development? There are pros and cons to these too. 6. The recognition of states and cities around the world Ask 50 random passersby how many of them know a city in Ireland, Sweden, Finland or the Netherlands and count the correct answers. Do the same in any European country asking about cities and states in the US. You will notice the difference immediately. Also on the internet and social media, if for example a new job is filmed for a clip on TikTok or YouTube, the views will be high if the content and thumbnail of the video have been put in at least a little effort. The same is not necessarily the case with cities in European countries. Some more, some less. 7. Suburbs in the United States A lot of us have seen pictures of suburbs in the US where there are lots of single-family homes. I can't justify it, but they often look so cozy and peaceful. 8. Carpeted floor I don't know what fascinates and attracts me so much about these, but there is just something about them that I love. Here too, some hate, some like. 9. Attitude towards success vs Finnish mentality In the following I will only talk about some people and their ways of thinking. These are generalizations, I admit, and there are many differences between countries, as well as views. For example, Finns do not necessarily talk about success loudly or advertise their own business loudly, etc., but some do this a lot in the USA and it is based a lot on the character of the people of the countries, etc., and the values. Both are right. Diversity is an important value in the world throughout history, through the present, and right up to the future. It is humanity. 10. US flags everywhere It is wonderful and liberating. In Finland, if you go to wave the blue and white flag, for example, at the market square on an ordinary day without a major reason, some people will label you as nationalistic or crazy unless there is a clear issue and agenda that you are celebrating, want to emphasize, etc. I tried to bring the biggest individual things I love about the USA to this article. I'm sure I forgot to list and mention something, but more on that later. Many thanks to everyone who read this far!",
