  "text": "\n## Introduction\n\nGot hacked or need to reinstall your operative system, this guide will help you with all the process you need to do in order to achieve a fresh Windows install.\n\n## Preparing\n\nTo do this, you need the following:\n\n- An USB Flash Drive with 8gb+ of storage\n- A different computer running Windows\n- Internet access\n\n### Downloading Rufus\n\nTo flash Windows 11 into your USB Flash Drive and make it a bootable device you need to download Rufus.\n\nAfter you have downloaded Rufus, open it up.\n\n### Downloading Windows 11 ISO\n\nGo to Microsoft Software Download Listing, then click Latest Windows 11, and click the first one, follow the steps on the screen and wait for the ISO to download.\n\n### Using Rufus to flash the ISO into the USB\n\nOpen Rufus and click select on Boot selection, navigate to the downloaded Windows 11 ISO file and open it.\n\n![](/images/blog/windows11-install/3NpMPcKtURlujhRpyKDfwO.png)\n\nNow, do Win + R and enter \"diskpart\" in the computer you are installing Windows 11 on, after the command prompt opens up, write \"list disk\", this will display if your computer disk is on GPT or MBR, If there is an \\* under GPT your disk is using the GPT partition scheme, if there isn't any, you have an MBR disk.\n\n![](/images/blog/windows11-install/7IefhoPi7eBUpr8UXwFHWx.png)\n\nIn Rufus, under partition scheme, select what your disk is, then, click start in Rufus, you will now see a screen telling you to customize your Windows 11 installation, select them as you want, and then click Ok.\n\n![](/images/blog/windows11-install/75fdMb3B2im4FxuqoCUCWm.png)\n\nWait for Rufus to complete flashing the ISO into the USB, when it's done, go to google, and lookup the model of the motherboard or laptop you are installing Windows on followed by boot menu key, for example: X870 Tomahawk boot menu key.\n\nThe boot menu key can be F8, F12 or anything else, check what it is for you, then plug the usb into the computer you will be installing Windows 11 to, restart it, spam the boot menu key, and you should be in the boot menu.\n\nIn the boot menu, select your USB flash drive, and wait for the installation to boot up.\n\n## Windows 11 Installation\n\nYou will now be at the Windows 11 Installation, click Install Now. Wait for it to load, then follow the instructions until you see the Which type of installation do you want? screen, here, press Custom: Install Windows Only.\n\n![](/images/blog/windows11-install/48GTbRK1i2HJHrN2UBu8wC.jpg)\n\nNow, you should see your computer's disks.\n\n![](/images/blog/windows11-install/7jSFaZLyXn9yqOYrytHj0f.png)\n\nPress all the partitions of Disk 0 (if your computer has multiple disks select them all) and delete them each. You should now see a free storage one in Disk 0, make sure there are no other partitions, then, click the Disk 0 and press next, Windows will start installing now.\n\nWait for it to be done, your computer should pop up to your new Windows 11 installation. If you told Rufus to create an user for you then your installation will probably be done, if you didn't, then configure Windows 11 at your liking following the screen instructions.\n",
