Best way to extract publicly available Google Maps images from a shared URL?

Hi everyone,
I’ve been wondering if anyone here has found a good way to save photos from Google Maps on Android.
Sometimes I come across interesting places or Street View panoramas that I’d like to keep for offline reference, but taking screenshots isn’t ideal because the quality isn’t great and the Google Maps interface is still visible.
I know there are a few websites and apps that claim to do this, but I’m curious if there’s an open source solution or something available through F-Droid. It would be nice to simply share a Google Maps link with an app and save the publicly available photos in their original quality.
Has anyone found a workflow that works well? I’m just looking for a convenient way to save publicly available Google Maps images for personal reference and research.
I’d love to hear what other people are using. Thanks!
