It takes you somewhere. That reference above is relevant. It is one of the reasons why laws in the US are going the way they are. It is no accident. Even though the populace is against these legislations, the lawmakers do not care as they are not acting for them. Rather, they are acting for their lobby, who stand to make big in surveillance contracts. Google is a part of that. That is the real reason they do not want F-Droid.
