Bye bye f droid toxic

There is an argument over the issue you linked, but I don’t see any toxic behavior. Instead of quitting using an app because there is a discussion about future changes you don’t like I think it is more helpful to add your perspective to the discussion. After all you are a user and can make some good arguments why the debated features are important to you.
