After four years of performing together at events, Karyn and Sheng Li are thrilled to perform at the Esplanade Concourse in their first-ever public duo showcase. In a ritual grounded by ancestral teachings, against the atmospheric soundscapes from Chengdu-based composer Guzz; a nameless trio surrounds a displaced altar in trance-like coordination. Postcards From My Darling Love is their twelfth solo show, a series of work inspired by the 1965 film Chinta Kasih Sayang(‘My Darling Love’), directed by Hussein Haniff.
