Is it wrong to discuss/have an opinion on idols personal life or did they give up that right when they became a kpop idol?

Is it wrong to discuss their personal life, who they’re dating, who they marry, who they hang around with, life outside the kpop industry etc Or as a fan of said idol do you have a right to discuss these things Where is the line drawn
