Issue with Cars 2006 game

Having trouble playing other games? Could be an issue with older games on your PC. I downloaded the cars 2006 on steam and while it was on my PC other modern games would freeze. after 10 minutes of playing a modern game my gaming PC would hard freeze. However the cars game would work perfectly fine. I uninstalled the cars game and everything was back to normal, no issues at all with the modern games.
