Vehicles affected: MERCEDES-BENZ EQB CLASS (2022) Summary: On certain vehicles, a weld inside the front axle electric drivetrain could fail and cause the park pawl not to work properly when you shift to the park (P) position. If this happens, the vehicle could move when it's parked and the parking brake isn't used. Safety Risk: A parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the front axle electric drivetrain.
