If this happens, there could be a loss of power to the wheels. \r\nNote: This problem would cause a warning light to turn on and a warning message to be displayed. \r\n\r\nSafety Risk: \r\nA loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. \r\n\r\nCorrective Actions: \r\nBMW will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the electric drive motor software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a BMW dealership.",
