  "textContent": "Vehicles affected: MERCEDES-BENZ EQB CLASS (2023)\n\nSummary: Issue: \r\nOn one vehicle, the recall repairs completed by a Mercedes-Benz dealer during recall 5496507 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-527) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. \r\n\r\nOn certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit.  \r\n\r\nSafety Risk: \r\nA short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk.  \r\n\r\nCorrective Actions: \r\nTo reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the battery management system software.",
