As a result, the battery could overheat. \r\n\r\nSafety Risk: \r\nA battery that overheats can create a fire risk. \r\n\r\nCorrective Actions: \r\nVolkswagen will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the high-voltage battery. The dealer will update the self-discharge detection (SDD) software and, if necessary, replace high-voltage battery module(s).",
