As a result, a second repair is required. \r\n\r\nOn certain vehicles, the parking brake wiring harness could become damaged and/or corroded. If this happens, the parking brake may not work and the vehicle could roll away when it's parked. This problem could also cause the parking brake to apply suddenly while driving. \r\n\r\nSafety Risk: \r\nA parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash. Additionally, a parking brake that self-applies while driving could increase the risk of a crash. \r\n\r\nCorrective Actions: \r\nGeneral Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the wiring harness.",
