  "textContent": "Vehicles affected: VINFAST VF 8 (2023, 2024, 2025)\n\nSummary: Issue: \r\nOn certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the electronic parking pawl (EPP) to be released on its own. Additionally, the electronic parking brake (EPB) wiring harness could become damaged and/or corroded. If both issues happen at the same time, the vehicle could roll away when it's parked. \r\n \r\nSafety Risk: \r\nA parked vehicle that rolls away could create the risk of an injury or a crash. \r\n \r\nCorrective Actions: \r\nTo reduce the safety risk, VinFast recommends parking the vehicle on a flat surface until the recall repairs have been completed. VinFast will notify owners by email and advise you to take your vehicle to a VinFast authorized service center to update the vehicle software. The service center will also inspect and repair or replace the EPB wiring harness, as necessary.",
