"textContent": "Vehicles affected: MERCEDES-BENZ EQB CLASS (2022, 2023)\n\nSummary: Issue: \r\nOn certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Mercedes-Benz dealer during Transport Canada recall nos. 2025-041 or 2025-527 may not be effective. As a result, another repair is required. \r\n\r\nOn certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit. \r\n\r\nSafety Risk: \r\nA short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. \r\n\r\nCorrective Actions: \r\nTo reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% and that you should park your vehicle outdoors and away from other vehicles or structures until the recall repairs are completed. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the high-voltage battery.",
