Audi E-tron, Q8 E-tron, Sq8 E-tron recall (2026187)

Vehicles affected: AUDI E-TRON, Q8 E-TRON, SQ8 E-TRON (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) Summary: Issue: On certain vehicles, the brake booster input rod may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the input rod could detach from the brake booster and cause a loss of brakes. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2024-670. For 2020-2024 model years, this recall affects both Sportback and SUV models. Safety Risk: A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the brake booster input rod screw joint.
