Mercedes-benz Eqs 580, Eqs 450 recall (22V190000)

Vehicles affected: MERCEDES-BENZ EQS 580, EQS 450 (2022) Summary: Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2022 EQS 450 and EQS 580 vehicles. A software error may cause the overhead control panel to become permanently deactivated. Consequence: A deactivated overhead control panel will not allow an occupant to manually contact emergency personnel, delaying emergency responders and increasing the risk of injury. Remedy: Dealers will update the overhead control panel software, free of charge. All vehicles have been remedied. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
