Porsche Taycan Turbo recall (23V313000)

Vehicles affected: PORSCHE TAYCAN TURBO (2021) Summary: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020 911 Carrera S, 2021 Taycan Turbo, and 2022 911 Carrera vehicles. Due to a process error in the car body production line, various welds may be missing from the vehicle body. Consequence: In the event of a crash, incomplete body welding may not provide adequate protection to occupants, increasing the risk of injury. Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the welds, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 30, 2023.
