Lion Lionc recall (24V460000)

Vehicles affected: LION LIONC (2023, 2024) Summary: Lion Electric Company (Lion Electric) is recalling certain 2023-2024 LionC school buses. The controller area network (CAN) connector for the high-voltage battery number 4 was incorrectly installed, which can allow water to accumulate and cause a lost connection with the battery. Consequence: A lost connection with the battery can lead to a loss of power steering assist and reduced braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash. Remedy: Lion Electric will reinstall and replace the CAN connector as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 29, 2024.
