"textContent": "Sharp is set to unveil its electric vehicle (EV) concept model, known as “LDK+,” at its “Innovation Showcase” during the SHARP Tech-Day ’24 event. The event will take place at the Tokyo International Forum in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan, from September 17th to 18th. The concept model was developed in collaboration with Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), using an EV open platform, with additional cooperation from Folofly Corporation.\n\n\n\nThe “LDK+” concept focuses on using the vehicle’s interior as an “extended living room,” emphasizing features and functionality when the vehicle is stationary. It integrates Sharp’s proprietary AI technology called “CE-LLM,” alongside AIoT and sensing technologies, aiming to connect EVs with living spaces, people, and energy for a more comfortable and sustainable lifestyle.\n\n\n\nKey features of the “LDK+” include rotating rear seats that can face backward. Once the door is closed, liquid crystal shutters on both side windows activate, creating a private space. The vehicle uses AI to adapt interior settings, such as air conditioning and lighting, based on learned preferences from home appliances, providing a comfortable and personalized environment.\n\n\n\nThe rear of the vehicle is equipped with a 65V display that serves multiple functions. It can act as an immersive theater room, a children’s play area, or a dedicated space for remote work. This display allows for seamless communication with family members at home, functioning as though they are in the next room.\n\n\n\nThe “LDK+” also comes equipped with a storage battery and solar panels, enabling connection to a home energy system. Sharp’s AI technology facilitates optimal energy management between the home and the EV, offering efficient energy use. In the event of a power outage, the electricity stored in the vehicle’s battery can be used within the home.",
