"textContent": "Honda publicly debuted its 0 SUV prototype at the Red Bull Showrun x Powered by Honda event in Tokyo, Japan. The all-electric vehicle, which is part of the Honda 0 Series lineup, was driven by Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen. Honda plans to begin production of the 0 SUV in 2026 at its EV Hub in Ohio.\n\n\n\nThe prototype was previously introduced at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show alongside the Honda 0 Saloon. Both models are based on Honda’s new dedicated EV platform and reflect the company’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” design approach. The 0 SUV features a spacious cabin aimed at offering improved visibility and flexibility. It also integrates Honda’s ASIMO OS, a proprietary operating system developed for digital user experiences and vehicle optimization.\n\n\n\nThe Tokyo demonstration event included participation from other Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls drivers, such as Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, and Isack Hadjar. It was held ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix at the Suzuka Circuit. The showcase marked Honda’s ongoing collaboration with Red Bull Racing, a partnership that has produced over 63 Formula 1 victories, four consecutive Drivers’ World Championships for Verstappen from 2021 to 2024, and two Constructors’ World Championships in 2022 and 2023.\n\n\n\nAlso featured at the event were several Red Bull Racing Honda Formula 1 cars, including the RB16B, the RB7 with a new 2025 livery, and the historic Honda RA272, which won the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix. The 0 SUV prototype was presented in a custom wrap with geometric graphics symbolizing Honda’s EV strategy.\n\n\n\nHonda confirmed that the production version of the 0 SUV will first launch in North America before expanding to other global markets, including Japan and Europe.\n\n\n\n\t\t\t\n\tTOKYO, JAPAN – APRIL 02: Max Verstappen of the Netherlands and Oracle Red Bull Racing and Yuki Tsunoda of Japan and Oracle Red Bull Racing prepare to drive during an Oracle Red Bull Racing Show Run on April 02, 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.
