"textContent": "The 2026 Honda CR-V lineup includes a new TrailSport Hybrid model that combines hybrid-electric performance with rugged design features. This is the first time Honda has paired its TrailSport branding with its two-motor hybrid system. The TrailSport Hybrid is equipped with standard all-wheel drive, exclusive exterior styling elements, and off-road capable tires.\n\n\n\nThe CR-V TrailSport Hybrid uses Honda’s fourth-generation two-motor hybrid-electric system, which pairs two large electric motors with a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine. This configuration produces a combined 204 horsepower and 247 lb.-ft. of torque. The hybrid power unit is manufactured in Ohio, as is the internal combustion engine.\n\n\n\nStandard features on the TrailSport Hybrid include a 10.2-inch digital instrument display, a 9-inch color touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a wireless phone charger. Other standard equipment includes heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a moonroof, and a power tailgate. Amber ambient interior lighting and TrailSport-specific branding on the floor mats and headrests are also included.\n\n\n\nThe vehicle rides on Continental CrossContact all-terrain tires mounted on unique 18-inch Shark Gray alloy wheels. These tires are intended to improve performance in off-road conditions while maintaining acceptable on-road behavior. To further support off-road use, the CR-V TrailSport Hybrid includes enhanced traction management for low-speed driving on uneven terrain.\n\n\n\nThe TrailSport Hybrid exterior features design changes such as a silver front skid garnish, piano black trim elements, and orange TrailSport badging. A new exterior paint color, Ash Green Metallic, is exclusive to the TrailSport trim.\n\n\n\nProduction of the CR-V continues in North America at Honda facilities in Ohio, Indiana, and Ontario, Canada. The CR-V TrailSport Hybrid will be available at dealerships beginning spring 2025.",
