"textContent": "Hyundai announced at the 2025 Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo that it will establish a scalable hydrogen production and dispensing facility for Class-8 heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles. The facility, called HTWO Energy Savannah, will be located approximately 10 miles from the Port of Savannah, Georgia. The location is intended to serve one of the country’s busiest freight corridors.\n\n\n\nThe development is a collaboration between HTWO Logistics, HydroFleet, and Capital Development Partners. Operations are scheduled to begin in late fall of 2025. The facility will initially have the capacity to produce and dispense 1,200 kilograms of hydrogen per day. Future plans include infrastructure upgrades to increase production and dispensing capacity to 4,200 kilograms per day, depending on demand.\n\n\n\nPhoto credit: Hyundai\n\n\n\nThe hydrogen station is intended to support heavy-duty trucking operations in the region with fast-fill refueling. The project also aligns with Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America’s (HMGMA) logistics strategy, which aims to reduce emissions through the use of hydrogen-powered transport.\n\n\n\nOfficials from Hyundai, HydroFleet, and regional organizations have described the project as a step toward meeting logistical and energy needs in the southeastern United States. The site is intended to contribute to local and regional efforts to develop hydrogen-based infrastructure for commercial transportation.",
