Could have been better

I love 《Supergirl》 but this latest adaptation was lacking. Or maybe I came in with very high expectations and it didn't meet it. I had to search online to understand what was Kara's deep issue behind why she was drinking herself away, the movie gave the impression that she was just a spoiled brat. Then suddenly Krypto was dying so she channeled her inner John Wick. And why was it she always had to refresh her battery?
