  "textContent": "A direct drill funded with support from the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund.\nCredit: RPA.\n\nThe Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) application window is now open until midday on Tuesday 12 May.\n\nIf you have already started your application, we encourage you to use this time to review and finalise your submission.\n\nIf you have not yet applied, there is still time to consider how the fund could support your business.\n\nIf you have already submitted your application, you will not be able to edit it.\n\nThe fund details remain the same.\n\nFETF supports farmers, growers, foresters and contractors to invest in equipment and technology that can improve:\n\n  * productivity\n\n\n  * animal health and welfare\n\n\n  * slurry management\n\n\n\nAs outlined in our earlier post, the budget is spread across these 3 themes. Each theme has a wide range of eligible items to choose from.\n\nThere are no changes to the items on each list, the costs, scoring approach or the claim deadline.\n\nSome applicants have shared concerns about scoring thresholds. We want to reassure you, and clarify, that scoring is only used if applications exceed the available funding. If necessary, score thresholds are set after all applications have been received and are based on the overall level of demand in that round.\n\nThe FETF 2026 guidance is available on GOV.UK.
