Thousands of Ontario government staff using unsecured AI, watchdog finds

Ontario's auditor general says the Ford government allowed public employees to upload people’s personal data, including credit cards and driver’s licences, to unsecured AI sites and used medical software that recorded wrong medications and missed mental health details.
