Smith and Carney's deal on methane could let Big Oil waste millions worth of natural gas

A tentative Alberta-Ottawa deal reached last week could allow the province's oil and gas industry to release about 3 million extra tonnes of planet-warming methane into the atmosphere, analysts say.
