Feds likely to miss MOU deadline as opposition to carbon capture project grows

The federal and Alberta governments are working on brokering a trilateral agreement with the oilsands companies behind the proposed Oil Sands Alliance’s carbon capture project, but a coalition of rural, Indigenous and farming communities along the proposed CO2 pipeline route — an essential part of the project — are vowing to organize against it.
