Once a month, people with dementia and those who care for someone who does meet at St. Luke's Episcopal church in Chester to attend what's known as a memory cafe. Music is played, fostering joy and connection— and strengthen memory — among their members. Research shows listening to meaningful music can strengthen areas in the brain that support memory.
