Boston Public Schools hadn't until now fined bus vendor for thousands of 'uncovered trips'

Boston School transportation officials faced scrutiny during a city council hearing Tuesday that revealed the district hadn't fined the school bus vendor for 3,100 uncovered rides that left parents and students wrangling to find other transportation.
